A coach who has lived the international experience.
Teaching English has taken me far from the south of England where I grew up. Over the course of my career I have lived and worked in several countries, taught across four continents and had the privilege of working with people from all walks of life and all corners of the world.
I hold a Masters of Education in International Teaching and a Bachelor of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, but it is the years spent living internationally that have shaped me most as a teacher. I bring both the academic grounding and the genuine lived understanding of what it means to navigate the world across cultures and languages.
That is the foundation I bring to every lesson.
My Background
From the South of England to Four Continents
I began my career teaching in international schools and private households, working alongside families and professionals from dozens of different countries. That early experience of being immersed in different cultures, languages and ways of seeing the world; it shaped everything about the way I teach.
For the past five years I have built a thriving private practice, working with over 500 students from more than 30 countries. My students range from C-suite executives and entrepreneurs to IELTS candidates and curious, ambitious adults who simply want to feel truly at home in English.
Beyond my professional life, I have a genuine zest for life and a love of travel that has taken me to many corners of the world. That experience has given me a natural affinity for working with internationally minded people.
